You have the right to transmit your data according to Art 20 of the GDPR ('right to data portability'). 2. Collecting and Processing Visitors' Data

The data collected from you when you visit our website and use our forms (contact request, registration, registration of customer account, search terms, etc.) will be processed on our behalf on the servers of our host provider. These servers are located in the EU. This data will be deleted if it is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was stored or if storing it is unlawful for any other legal reasons. Further data will not be collected.

As defined by Art 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, we have a legitimate interest in using this service to ensure the trouble-free publication and presentation of our website as well to maintain data privacy.

2.1. Information about Cookies

We use cookies to optimize our website. These are small text files that are placed on your computer when you visit our website. Cookies contain a unique identifier, the so-called cookie ID. Cookies allow visited websites and servers to recognize and associate which browser was specifically used to access the sites concerned. That's how you can have easier access to our website. Recognition, for example, saves you the trouble of re-entering login information or prevents your shopping cart from being deleted when you visit other sites. As defined by Art 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, we have a legitimate interest in using cookies to make our website intuitive and to facilitate user access.

You can reject cookies by selecting "disable or block cookies" in your browser settings. Disabling cookies may however limit the functionality of this website. Most popular browsers now offer options for individually allowing or rejecting cookies. You can install or set appropriate add-ons to block third-party cookies only, to remove all cookies after closing your browser or generally to prevent websites from tracking user activity (do not track).

2.2. Google Analytics with IP Anonymization Feature

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc.,1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics places cookies (see above) on your end device(s) to analyze how you use our website. With the help of cookies, it is possible to transmit your IP address as well as the time, location and frequency of your visits to our website to Google servers located in the USA which will process this data. Since we activate IP anonymization, Google will anonymize your IP address by setting the last octet of your IP address to zero before saving it. As defined by Art 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, we have a legitimate interest in using this service to analyze our online offerings as well as the visibility of our website and optimize it for our visitors.

What happens then?

Google evaluates how our website is used and compiles reports on time spent and interaction with it. We use this service for the purpose of statistical evaluation to optimize website content for users and to increase traffic on our website. Google also uses data to optimize its own service offerings. This data is transferred by Google to third parties who process it on behalf of Google or if data transfer is required by law or ordered by court.

You don't want that?

You can use an opt-out plug-in provided by Google to prevent your data from being transmitted to Google Analytics. More information about this feature can be found here.

You can also set an opt-out cookie, especially in browsers on mobile devices. Please note that if you choose to delete all cookies in your settings after closing your browser, the opt-out cookie will not work the next time you visit our website.

For further details on Google Analytics terms of service and privacy, please visit https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/us.html and/or https://policies.google.com/?hl=en and https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en  .

2.3. Google AdWords and Remarketing Tags

We use Google AdWords and, in connection with this, the Google AdWords remarketing tags operated by Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA. Google cookies may be set to maintain ad preferences. They submit data to Google servers located in the United States.

Google processes data on the basis of international agreements and an adequacy decision from the EU Commission as defined by Art 45 of the GDPR. The provider is certified according to the EU-US Privacy Shield and is therefore required to comply with EU data protection standards.

Google analyzes your user behavior based on your web or app browsing history and also uses third-party data to this end. This is how Google can draw conclusions about e.g. your age, gender, location and preferences. Authenticated user IDs are temporarily associated with our audience lists. This way, we can use the information collected in conjunction with Google AdWords campaigns to tailor ads to specific target groups and to remotely connect with visitors to our website by providing them with personalized offers (remarketing). This presupposes that your online interactions are tracked across various websites (third-party tracking). This data may be disclosed to contractors by Google.

Cross-device targeting may be used to display ad preferences based on your previous interactions with browsers of other devices, such as PCs or tablets, on your smartphone browser, for example. This will not take place unless you have chosen to enable Google to associate the data from the browsing history of your device with your Google account as set forth in Art 6, 1, (a) of the GDPR. You can withdraw your consent to Google e.g. by disabling Google's cross-device, personalized advertising as explained in https://support.google.com/ads/answer/7395996?hl=en .

As defined by Art 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, we have a legitimate interest in using these services to analyze interaction with our website and align our service and products offerings as well as our ads to your preferences.

You can reject cookies by selecting "disable or block cookies" in your browser settings. You can also install so-called AdBlocker add-ons or plug-ins. You can also disable cookies for interest-based advertising via the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) by following instructions at http://optout.networkadvertising.org/?c=1#!/. Further details on Google's data privacy and advertising can be found at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en and/or at: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=en.

2.4. Social Plug-ins

As defined by Art 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, we have a legitimate interest in using social media plug-ins to boost the visibility and dissemination of our service and product offerings. Unless otherwise stated, US providers are certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield and are therefore required to comply with EU privacy standards. They process data on the basis of international agreements and an adequacy decision from the EU Commission as defined in Art 45 of the GDPR.

(1) Facebook

We use Facebook plug-ins operated by Facebook Inc.,1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA. The competent entity for data processing within the EU is: Facebook Ireland Ltd., Hanover Reach, 5-7 Hanover Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland.

Plug-ins connect Facebook servers with the browser or device you are using. They will convey the information that you have visited our website and when your visit(s) took place and will associate it with your Facebook profile even if you have not clicked any plug-ins.

If you click on any of the Facebook plug-ins like the "Like button" or any other plug-ins carrying the Facebook logo on our website while being logged into your Facebook account or if you have logged into it during the current browser session, you will be able to link our pages to your Facebook profile. To obtain more Facebook plug-ins, please go to: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins?locale=en_US.

By doing so, you make it possible for Facebook to associate your visit to our pages with your Facebook account. If you object to this, please log out of your Facebook account before visiting our website. However, Facebook can also track your interaction with our website even if you are not logged in or do not have a Facebook account by creating a so-called shadow profile. This data can be associated with your profile next time you log in. All data collected in this way will be processed and stored on Facebook servers in non-EU countries, as applicable. If you object to this, add-ons are available for all major browsers to prevent web tracking, in particular by Facebook. We would like to point out that we have no knowledge of the content or use of the data transmitted about you to or via Facebook. To know more about it, please read the Facebook data policy at: https://www.facebook.com/full_data_use_policy .

(2) Instagram

We use Instagram plugins, operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. When you visit our pages, a direct connection is established between your browser and the Meta or Instagram server via the plugin. Instagram thereby receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. This allows Instagram to assign the visit to our pages to your user account. We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the pages, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its processing by Instagram. For more information, please see Instagram's privacy policy at about.instagram.com/de-de/safety. If you do not want Instagram to be able to associate your visit to our pages with your Instagram user account, please log out of your user account.

(3) XING

This website uses the XING Share button. When you visit our website, your browser connects to the servers of XING SE, Dammtorstrasse 30, 20354, Hamburg, Germany, which deliver the "XING Share button" functions (especially for calculating / displaying the visitor counter reading). XING does not store any personal data about you when you visit our website. Neither does it store IP addresses. Similarly, there is also no evaluation of your user behavior via cookies and the XING Share button. Current information on data privacy and the XING Share button as well as additional details can be found at: https://privacy.xing.com/en and/or https://dev.xing.com/plugins/share_button/privacy_policy .

(4) LinkedIn

This website uses LinkedIn plug-ins that are operated by LinkedIn Corporation, 1000 W. Maude Ave., Sunnyvale, CA 94085, USA.

Plug-ins establish a direct connection between LinkedIn servers and the web browser you use. As soon as you visit one of our pages via a LinkedIn plug-in, it will be loaded from their servers and the download registered. As a result, LinkedIn knows which page(s) you have visited.

According to LinkedIn, the data transmitted, e.g. IP addresses and pages visited, will only be processed for displaying plug-ins and not for other purposes. Your visit(s) to our web pages will not be merged with any other personal data that may have been collected about you.

By clicking the "Recommend button", you will link our pages to your LinkedIn account and share this information with other users.

Please note that we have no knowledge of the content or use of the data transmitted about you to or via LinkedIn. For further information, please read the LinkedIn privacy policy at: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy#share.

(5) YouTube

Our website uses YouTube plug-ins operated by YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA; YouTube belongs to Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Plug-ins establish a direct connection between YouTube servers and the web browser you use. As soon as you visit one of our pages via a YouTube plug-in, it will be loaded from YouTube servers and the download registered, no matter whether you are watching a video or not. As a result, YouTube knows which page of our website you have visited and will merge this information - if you are logged into your personal YouTube profile - with other personal data that is already stored there and associate your browsing behavior with your account.

To prevent this as far as possible, you need to log out of your Google and YouTube accounts before visiting our website and to activate the add-ons provided by all major browsers to prevent tracking.

If you are not logged into your Google or YouTube account, your visit to our web pages will not be merged with any other personal information that may have been collected about you, according to YouTube. For further details, please read the Google privacy policy at a href="https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en" target="_blank">https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.

We delete or block your data as soon as it is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was stored or if its storing is unlawful for any other legal reasons or if you require it to be erased or blocked.

As defined by Art 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, we have a legitimate interest in making it easier for visitors to our website to contact us. Their data is processed on a server located in the EU. Please note that data privacy cannot be fully guaranteed when sharing information by email. Without encryption, emails may be accessed by unauthorized third parties despite TLS.
