Faubel's corporate history goes back more than 165 years. Today, we are a family-owned business operating worldwide in the printing, paper, and film converting industries.

The Faubel Pharma Services and Faubel Creative Solutions divisions have combined their performance capabilities under the umbrella of the Faubel Group. Development, material, market knowledge and experience have made us the leading system provider of functional labels.
New Owners
CCL Industries Inc. has held all company shares in the Faubel Group since August 2023. With this acquisition, CCL, the world's largest label manufacturer, is expanding its organizational and operational capabilities in the healthcare sector in the European market.

We produce about half a billion labels per year. In 2022, the Faubel Group generated 52,9 million euros worth of sales with a 62 percent export rate. We supply 75 percent of our products to the research-based pharmaceutical industry.

In recent years, our workforce has been growing steadily in all areas. The Group employs 300 people, enabling us to operate reliably and on schedule — even in response to urgent requests.

In addition, almost the entire Faubel team can be reached by phone, email, or video call. Transparent project coordination with feasibility analysis, material testing, quotation preparation, costing, and milestone planning is just as much a part of our services as detailed documentation for ensuring the seamless traceability of all processes.
Europe
Our headquarters are located in the middle of Germany, in Melsungen. It is where our products are developed and manufactured. Further locations support our sales in Europe.
USA
Our sister corporation, Faubel Pharma Services Corp., has existed in Bordentown, New Jersey, since 2009. Our local team serves the US market and has the technology to fulfill overprinting orders.
Asia
In 2014, Faubel also opened a sales office in Shanghai, China.

Product Development
Being an international market leader also means providing impetus and implementing ideas. Our product development puts our customers' needs into practice - always with a finger on the pulse of time.
At Faubel, we develop labels for every type of container and application. We are well acquainted with many industries' legal requirements for product information and safety. We are therefore able to develop demand-oriented concepts for our customers. Hand samples and sample rolls give our customers an accurate impression of the final product and help us conduct initial application tests.

All areas of action are compiled in our Code of Conduct. Partnership, transparency, and fairness towards our employees, suppliers, and business partners are vital prerequisites. For our efforts to be a future-oriented employer, we received the Employer of the Future award in 2023. As a responsible neighbor, we are committed to the region. That is why we are happy to contribute to its attractiveness and quality of life. We also support community life through sponsoring and donations — a multifaceted commitment that gives us great pleasure. Faubel has been WCA certified since 2012. In 2022, Faubel received a silver award from EcoVadis for responsible corporate conduct, placing it among the top 30 percent of performers.
Environmental Protection
Environmental protection and resource-efficient production are top priorities at Faubel. We have installed photovoltaic systems on the roofs of our newer buildings. Process heat is used to heat the interiors, and water-bearing pipes regulate the climate inside our premises. This measure saves 16.6 tons of CO² per year. Faubel purchases paper, films, paints, varnishes, and adhesives from certified suppliers. Since 2014, all materials have been free of benzophenone, inks are made from renewable raw materials, and paper comes from trees planted specifically for this purpose. We recycle our surplus and waste. Since 2023 we are also certified according to DIN ISO 50001. With the introduction of an energy management system, we want to constantly improve our energy efficiency with the associated processes, because we care about the environment.
