On 1 May 1855, Hermann Faubel founded "Faubel & Co. Cartonagen und Papierwaaren-Fabrik Cassel" in Kassel. 165 years later, the small manufacturer of pharmacy accessories has become one of the world's leading suppliers of labels for clinical trials and special requirements. With more than 260 employees at its headquarters in Melsungen and at various other locations in Europe, the USA and Asia, the family-run company contributes to the economic stability of the North Hesse region.
Staying optimistic despite coronavirus crisis
"The coronavirus crisis has clearly taught us how important it is, especially for small and medium-sized companies, to have a sound foundation. I am therefore pleased to see that we've never rested on our experience and knowledge, but always had the ambition of developing further", says Frank Jäger, Faubel's Managing Director.
The management would like to pay special tribute to the company staff: without them, Faubel's products could never be produced - from paper labels to new Smart Labels featuring RFID and e-paper technology. "Our employees' commitment makes me look confidently to the future: many more years will come our way past our 165th anniversary".
