CPhI Worldwide, the largest series of events in the pharmaceutical industry will open its doors in Frankfurt from November 5 to 7, 2019, and Faubel Pharma Services will be one of the 2,500 exhibitors attending the event.
As a proven supplier to the pharmaceutical industry and a specialist for functional labels, Faubel will be presenting its 113-page-thick booklets labels used for multilingual product identification at booth 11.1 G10, hall 11, amongst other products. Our latest generation of smart labels integrating e-paper and RFID technology will be exhibited there, too.
"We have been producing innovative labeling solutions for the pharmaceutical industry for over 160 years and are one of the world leading manufacturers of booklet labels and labels for IMPs," explains Diana Aland, Business Development Manager, who advises customers in Switzerland, Austria and Italy. At CPhI she and her colleagues will be presenting booklet labels with additional features – e.g. first opening protection – to trade visitors, amongst other products. In addition, the Faubel Pharma Services business unit offers special multilayer labels that are able to make blisters childproof. The so-called CRSF Labels (Child-Resistant and Senior-Friendly) meet the highest safety standard, the so-called F1 status of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
In addition to established labeling solutions, Faubel has been developing smart labels for several years. Typically, they are a combination of e-paper display, RFID tag and label. "Our Faubel-Med® Label is one example of such smart labels. The expiry date shown on the e-paper display is automatically updated by means of validated software whenever stability data changes. Relabeling is therefore no longer necessary," Diana Aland adds. A live demo will be showed at the booth over the entire period to show visitors how much time can be saved using this new technology.
