Printing & Die Cutting

Our technologies work with pinpoint accuracy. We can optimally realize large print runs, small batch sizes, and print products with specific requirements using a variety of printing processes.

  • Flexographic Printing
  • Offset Printing
  • Inkjet Printing
  • Screen Printing

Particularly with our labels, which are often made up of different layers of material, it is essential to separate the materials neatly. This way, each label can be optimally screened without damaging the carrier material. Depending on the product, we use flat or rotary punches.

Further Processing

Clever Joining

Coating

Materials are coated with adhesives on hot melt systems and bonded together. That is how multilayer labels are produced. Functional coatings with varnishes are used to improve the feel and look, have a protective function and simplify subsequent printing at the customer's site.

Converting

The label rolls produced are converted in further processing according to customer requirements. Whether they are supplied in layers or on rolls can be handled flexibly. The same applies to specifications regarding web width, roll size, core diameter, running direction, or verso numbering.

Lamination

Lamination bonds the different material components that make up multilayer or booklet labels. It also ensures higher resistance to external influences such as chemicals and protects surfaces against scratches. Laminating can also create opacity, such as that required for blinding IMPs.

Application

As part of our service, we provide test rolls and onsite customer service to ensure that our labels are applied precisely and smoothly with the existing packaging equipment.

Paper, films and adhesive materials are the main starting materials of Faubel's labels

Paper, Film, Adhesive Material

Paper, films, and adhesive materials are the primary starting materials for our labels. The properties our labels must fulfill are the criteria we take for selecting materials. We purchase raw materials exclusively from audited and approved suppliers. Since 2014, the manufacturing process of our products has been free of benzophenone. We take low-migration adhesives, inks, and varnishes for food and pharmaceutical applications.

Colors Inks & Coatings

We can print any color system from RAL to HKS colors via Pantone, Euroscale, and spot colors. We use inks and coatings to display text and graphics or achieve tactile effects, Braille, and tactile elements in screen printing. In addition, product security features can be realized with inks and coatings.

Adhesives

We have a wide range of adhesives at our disposal. Here too, the decisive factor for selection is the labeling requirements. Possible criteria are:

  • Solubility (easily soluble, permanent, strongly adhesive)
  • Heat and adhesion resistance
  • Application conditions
  • Adherend condition
  • Security aspects
  • Chemical influences and many others
